The show’s got a group of “single” contestants, aka “islanders,” from agencies, living in a specially made villa, cut off from the world, trying to find love. Cameras and mics are on them 24/7. Contestants pair up to avoid getting dumped. The public votes for their fave islanders to stay. As old islanders get dumped, new ones roll in. By the end of the season, the public votes one last time to crown the winning couple.
